Istaqamat is a student led organisation, dedicated to promoting the rich culture of Pakistan, fostering entrepreneurial spirit and creating lasting opportunities for women of Pakistan to stand tall, grow and thrive with dignity. We plan to give opportunities to young girls and house wives to showcase their hand-made crafts on a stable platform where they can sell these organic items as well as connect with others. Join us on this mission as we grow towards a stable platform and inspire others in our communities to connect with the rich culture of Pakistan.

How many of you know about our precious countries history? We know about the making process of Pakistan and we are well aware of it’s politics too. But, do you know about the handicrafts made all over the country? Do you know about the Ajrak of Sindh, Balochi handicrafts from the barren plains of Balochistan, handmade carpets from Khyber and even the handicrafts of Punjab like Phulkari or carpets. These crafts still exist, and are handwoven with love and care just like old times. The problem is just one, not many people are aware. Not many people know that stuff, good stuff that is bound to last long still is here. So, we here in Istaqamat, plan to explore these crafts and give a deep understanding of their origins as well as how you can own one too.
